Cool and creamy, this take on the traditional Greek favourite is easy, delicious, and vegan. Power-packed hemp seeds provide a nutty nutritional boost of essential amino acids, omega-3s, and protein. Blend up with garlic, fresh lemon juice, cucumber, tahini, and dill then spread on our delicious sprouted breads, or serve as a flavourful dip with crudités. Store in the fridge for up to three days if needed—chances are it won’t last that long!

  • 1 cup hemp seeds
  • 2 cloves garlic , minced
  • 1 lemon , zested and juiced
  • 2 Tbsp tahini
  • 1 large cucumber , roughly chopped
  • 1 Tbsp fresh dill , chopped
  • ½ tsp lemon pepper
  • to taste salt


  1. Combine all ingredients in a high-powered blender and process until smooth. Adjust seasonings to taste. Serve with your favourite sprouted breads or as a condiment with Greek dishes. Refrigerate leftovers up to three days.
