Recipe Easy Dairy-Free Tzatziki

Cool and creamy, this take on the traditional Greek favourite is easy, delicious, and vegan. Power-packed hemp seeds provide a nutty nutritional boost of essential amino acids, omega-3s, and protein. Blend up with garlic, fresh lemon juice, cucumber, tahini, and dill then spread on our delicious sprouted breads, or serve as a flavourful dip with crudités. Store in the fridge for up to three days if needed—chances are it won’t last that long!
Ingredients
- 1 cup hemp seeds
- 2 cloves garlic , minced
- 1 lemon , zested and juiced
- 2 Tbsp tahini
- 1 large cucumber , roughly chopped
- 1 Tbsp fresh dill , chopped
- ½ tsp lemon pepper
- to taste salt
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a high-powered blender and process until smooth. Adjust seasonings to taste. Serve with your favourite sprouted breads or as a condiment with Greek dishes. Refrigerate leftovers up to three days.
