Layer savoury spinach hummus with creamy avocado, tender pea sprouts, crunchy green pepper, and mild butter lettuce on our good-fat-packed Hemptation Hemp bread. This superb sandwich is simply bursting with the season’s freshness and flavours.

How to make an easy green sandwich on sprouted whole grain bread

  • 1 – 2 Tbsp spinach hummus (or try our Fresh and Oil-Free Edamame Spread)
  • ¼ – ½ avocado , sliced
  • 1 handful sprouts (or microgreens (like pea sprouts or pea shoots))
  • ¼ green pepper , sliced
  • 1 – 2 leaves butter lettuce
  • 2 slices Silver Hills Sprouted Bakery Hemptation™ bread (or your favourite Silver Hills Bakery sprouted whole grain bread), toasted if desired


  1. Spread spinach hummus generously on one (or both!) slices of bread.
  2. Top one side with slices of ripe avocado, sprouts (or pea shoots), sliced green pepper, and tender leaves of butter lettuce.
  3. Close the sandwich with the second slice of bread, and enjoy!
