At Silver Hills Bakery, we believe that investing in your health is the greatest gift you can give yourself and your family. When you’re healthy, you have more to share! That’s why we make it our mission to source the most credible and up-to-date knowledge on healthy living we can find—including simple tasty recipes to make eating healthy easy!

But don’t just take our word for it, hear it from the professionals. We partner with licensed registered dietitians to bring you more in-depth nutrition information that they can trust.

Dietitians are regulated health professionals. In order to use the registered dietitian (RD) title, dietitians must undergo comprehensive and rigorous training, both on the job and in university. But they don’t just hold university science degrees, they also go through an accredited integrated or professional dietitian program and complete a practicum in a hospital or healthcare setting. In doing so, RDs develop practical skills through hands-on experience. Then they must pass a provincial/state licensing exam for the regulatory bodies in their area.

Registered dietitians are held accountable to the highest standards of education and ethics. RDs are industry experts, they can speak credibly on a wide range of nutritional topics—anything from toddler nutrition to healthy eating for adults. They are informative, evidence-based, reliable, and that’s why we call on them to help educate our audience.

With that said, we want to take this opportunity to feature some of the fabulous registered dietitians we have worked with:
