Lightly sweet and tart with delicate floral notes, this small batch fruit butter captures all the flavourful lightness of spring in a jar! Ingredients

  • 3 cups rhubarb chopped
  • 1 hibiscus tea bag
  • ¼ cup boiling water
  • cup maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Steep hibiscus tea in hot water for 5 minutes. Remove tea bag and transfer steeped tea to a medium saucepan with rhubarb and bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer until the rhubarb is very soft, 15 to 20 minutes.
  2. Add maple syrup and continue cooking until smooth and thick, an additional 10 to 15 minutes, stirring often.
  3. Let cool before storing in the refrigerator. Enjoy on our Sprouted Power™ Plain Bagels.
