Ingredients

  • 3 cups almonds
  • 2 – 3 Tbsp coconut oil melted
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¾ tsp ground cardamom
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • ¼ tsp ground all spice
  • ¼ tsp ground cloves
  • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp sea salt
  • ¼ tsp ground pepper
  • 2 Tbsp sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Place almonds on a baking sheet and bake until toasted and fragrant, 7 to 10 minutes. Let cool completely before transferring to the bowl of a food processor.
  2. Process until nuts turn to coarse meal then add spices and sugar. Continue blending until a paste forms then add oil and extract. Process until smooth. Transfer to a glass jar and refrigerate up to several months.
