Silver Hills Bakery

Dear friends of Silver Hills,

On behalf of everyone at Silver Hills, our hearts go out to all of you, our friends, families, and communities as we make our way through these extraordinary times.

Now, more than ever, we’re reminded of the power and importance of good health. We opened over 30 years ago with a mission to provide people with healthy choices, and while we’re only a small slice of what makes up a healthy world, we promise to continue to care for all of you by making foods with purpose.

Food production has been declared an essential service by our provincial government, and we’ve seen a surge in demand for nutritious foods like ours. Knowing that what we make is both needed and wanted, we will do everything we can to continue delivering our breads as long as we are safely able to do so. To that end, we want to assure you we are taking all precautions to protect the safety and wellbeing of our employees.

Getting healthy staples like our bread to your local grocery store wouldn’t be possible without the help of our committed employees, ingredient farmers, supply and retail partners, and the many others who contribute to this cause. Our greatest thanks go to each and every one of them as they continue to work diligently to farm, supply ingredients, bake, pack, ship and deliver our breads to you and your families. We could not do this without their remarkable commitment to creating a healthier world.

While things may feel unstable right now, we believe we have the potential to come together, care for one another, and create a truly healthy world together. At Silver Hills, we promise to uphold our mission to provide sprouted whole grain foods that inspire and empower you by providing healthy choices that enable you to live your healthiest life.

Last but not least, we want to thank our customers. We are forever grateful for your compassion, patience, and support during this time. We know it’s tough for everyone in all different ways. We will continue to provide inspiration, recipes and tips to help you as you make your way through this time—and long into the future.

In sharing our ideas and tips with you, we recognize that the spirit of helping often goes both ways. That’s why we wanted to give one last thank you for a piece of enjoyment which is helping us through. Seeing all of the delicious recipes you’re making with our breads, and the kind words you’ve shared as you’ve told us how our breads are helping you and your families reminds our team why we do what we do. Please keep sharing by tagging us @SilverHillsBakery on Facebook and Instagram.

We hope you stay safe and healthy,

Stan, Kathy and Brad
