Creamy white beans and seasonings come together simply and beautifully to make these delicately succulent, savoury patties. Build it on a Silver Hills Bakery sprouted whole grain burger bun and top with a light lemon and caper sauce and a refreshing fennel slaw.

Ingredients
For the White Bean Burger Patties:
4clovesgarlic, crushed
2lemons, zested
½tspsalt
½tspred pepper flakes
2Tbspbreadcrumbs, or ground flaxseed (we used our Sprouted Breadcrumb recipe)
3Tbspchickpea flour
2cans (398 ml / 14 fl oz) navy beans(or other white beans), drained and rinsed
To make the white bean burger patties, add all ingredients to the bowl of a food processor and pulse until the mixture comes together but is still chunky. Adjust seasonings to taste and form into patties.
Preheat a large skillet over medium heat. Add a small amount of oil and cook patties until golden brown, approximately 5 minutes. Flip and cook the other side.
For the Fennel Slaw:
To make the slaw, mix all ingredients in a small bowl, adjust seasoning to taste, and set aside.
For the Sauce:
Mix all sauce ingredients in a small bowl and set aside.
To Assemble:
Grill or toast the buns and stack each bun with a patty, spinach, avocado, fennel slaw, and sauce. Serve and enjoy!
