Tips
- Our Sweet & Spicy Watermelon Relish is best enjoyed right away. But if you have any leftovers or have this on your easy meal prep list for a summer soiree, store them in a covered container in your fridge for 2 to 3 days.- Even without salt, watermelon adds extra juice to salads, salsas, and relish recipes like this one—the longer you leave it, the bigger the pink puddle it makes. If you make this ahead to take to tomorrow’s backyard barbecue or have leftovers, serve them with a slotted spoon or fork to leave the extra juice in the bowl. No one wants a soggy bun or the rest of their meal swimming in a pool on their plate!
