We opened Silver Hills Bakery with a mission to empower people by providing healthy choices.

And we’ve been living that mission as a family-owned, family-run bakery with wholesomely sprouted products proudly made in Canada since 1989.

Made with whole grains sprouted at our bakery in Abbotsford, BC, every ingredient we use is plant-based and guaranteed non-GMO—the way food is meant to be.


What is Sprouted Bread?

Regular breads rely on a foundation of flour. But sprouted bread begins with a base of mashed sprouted whole grains.

At Silver Hills Bakery, our classic fully sprouted breads use mashed sprouted whole grains and little to no flour for hearty but tender slices.

Our softer fully sprouted breads use a mix of mashed sprouted whole grains and sprouted whole grain flours.

And our softest, fluffiest breads are made with up to a 50/50 blend of sprouted whole grains and organic wheat flour.

Classic Fully Sprouted Breads

Packed with seeds and sprouted whole grains, our classic fully sprouted breads are health-forward and nutrient dense—everything that makes sprouted bread special.

Squirrelly Bread: Stuffed with sesame and sunflower seeds with a whole grain chew and nutty flavour.

The Big 16: Loaded with 16 seeds and grains for an assortment of textures in a soft, multigrain wide slice.

Little Big Bread: Thin slices perfectly portioned for small-but-satisfying servings of smooth, whole grain goodness.
